What WeBelieve

THE BIBLE
The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God: written by the Holy men of old as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

ONE GOD
There is one God who is infinite in power, Holy in nature, attributes and purpose: omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. We believe that He was revealed to us: the Father in creation, the Son in redemption and the Holy Spirit in His comforting grace that never leaves those who trust in Him.

JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.

SALVATION
The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God.

BAPTISM AND COMMUNION
Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life in Christ. The Lord’s Supper is the commemoration of the death of the Lord Jesus, preceded by solemn self-examination; all true believers and only believers should share in it.

CHURCH
We believe that the church is God’s primary instrument through which He is fulfilling His redemptive purposes in the earth. To equip the saints for the work of ministry, God has given apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic, pastoral, and teaching gifts to the church. We also affirm the importance of every Christian being joined with and actively involved in a local community of the saints. God has called the church to preach the gospel to all nations, and especially to remember the poor and to minister to their needs through sacrificial giving and practical service.

CHRISTIAN WALK
We believe we are called with a holy calling to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is our spiritual service of worship.
